What We Do
Consoil Engineering offers a comprehensive range of construction materials testing, special inspection, quality control, and construction compliance services. Our certified technicians support projects of all scales — from residential land development to federally funded transportation infrastructure.
All work is performed in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, VDOT, IBC, and applicable agency standards.

Field sampling and laboratory testing of fresh and hardened concrete and masonry systems. Cylinder sampling, slump, air content, unit weight, compressive strength, and masonry prism testing per ASTM and ACI standards.

In-situ and laboratory geotechnical testing for earthwork, fill compaction, embankments, and subgrade evaluation. Nuclear density gauge testing, Proctor analysis, and soil classification per VDOT and AASHTO standards.

Asphalt pavement testing including density, core extraction, and temperature verification. Pavement marking inspection, slurry surface treatment, guardrail inspection, and Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) per VDOT specifications.

Structural steel and high-strength bolting inspection per IBC, AISC, and project specifications. Bolt torque verification, fastener inspection, and coordination with the Engineer of Record on commercial and infrastructure projects.

Comprehensive QC program management including Owner's QC Representation and third-party special inspection coordination. US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management (CQM) certified. Full documentation from groundbreaking to closeout.

Stormwater compliance, SWPPP monitoring, and erosion & sediment control inspections. VDOT construction compliance Inspections (ECI), air quality analysis, and workzone traffic control (Hazmat) for permitted construction sites.
